Health and Safety

‘Work Safe. Home Safe.’ A motto that represents for us an all-encompassing safety culture. That is for safety to become completely second nature, so that it extends from the project site to the home life. All staff are put through a Site Safe course to ensure that the minimum safety standards on site are met, according to the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015.

An inspiration to us has been the industry leaders “Z-Energy”, with a strong HSSE policy. Our aim is to align our company with the same standards set by this global company.

In addition, we have proven our continued commitment to safety by becoming a signed member of the Canterbury Safety Charter.

Our methods to manage Health and Safety are:

  1. A Site Specific Safety Plan is prepared prior to commencement on site.
    1. a.       A Sub-contractor SSSP is completed before entering the work place.
  2. A site induction is completed for all site visitors.
  3. Daily hazard identification and task analysis completed.
  4. Weekly toolbox talks are undertaken. This is an open discussion time for all staff to take part and helps encourage a strong safety culture.
  5. Progress site reports are completed for clients.
